Ahhh, typography. Is there anything it can’t do? Whilst some prefer brightly covered ball balls, quirky cartoons of reindeers, and gradient clad vector snowmen, the more elegant of designers find a more subtle approach.
Anyway…not sure what it is like in your place of business, but here we tend to leave the christmas card down to very last minute after about 6 months of internal debate. If your anything like this and still need to rush something out, or perhaps as inspiration for next year, here are some lovely elegant typographic christmas card ideas. My personal favourite is the 12 days of christmas. Genious. Also note the card from build for the design museum. Have also put our christmas party invite, made from silver paper with a black overprint, directly below.
Hope you enjoy, and by all means let me know what is your favourite? Any links to further good christmas card designs also appreciated. Happy holidays from all at fred.

Nice collection. I am impressed with VW’s pop-up snow flake logo…creative.
Oh oh… I cant decide R., so here’s the deal : I send them all out & let the addressee choose the one they like best & save the rest for the years to come ! oh yeah – I like that idea !
– great list , my fav one however ( for the sake of having to choose
) would have to be the pristine white one which is raised with the embossed skyline ( guess I’m melancholy for NY this time of year ). Yes, I will buy that one sir ( box of 200 thank you ! :d ) – and speaking of X-Mas here is my wish to all of YOU . Have a great one Roger & may each year only get better for you
Best wishes : M.
