		<description>Thanks for the comments guys. Michael, I agree, this is something MTV have done to great effect whilst still maintaining their brand feel. And the logo has always been recognisable despite its different formats.

Klaus, the two are a bit of a stretch I admit. I think they are both really interesting though and wanted to draw on comparisons. Besides a brand is not just defined by its mark but the entire essence of the brand itself. That is the part I wanted to look at in this article.</description>
