Wim Crouwel Marks

I went to see the Wim Crouwel exhibition the other week at the Design Museum in London. Really was a fantastic exhibition, the body of work is amazing with such variety in style and formats throughout.

One of the things I found most interesting, as I had not previously seen that much of it, was some of Crouwel’s logo marks design. Crouwel has an amazing logic, simplicity and boldness to all his work, which makes him so well suited to logo design. All the marks were everything I would want from a logo. Distinctive, bold and elegant, whilst the symbols themselves beautifully communicate a bit about the company they represent. They make you think and wonder, which makes them ever more memorable.

Below are a few shots of some of the marks from the exhibition. Hope you enjoy, and do go and see the exhibition yourselves, well worth it!
